Accounts Manager

We are actively seeking an experienced Accounts Manager to join a local construction firm based in Manteca with a proven ability to modernize accounting systems utilizing new software.

The selected individual will join the proactive team at one of California's prominent construction firms, devoted to reshaping the educational construction sector with a strong emphasis on sustainability.

The preferred candidate should approach tasks with a proactive attitude, given the fast-paced nature of the environment. Key Responsibilities:

• Managing accounts payable processes using advanced technology to move towards a paperless system.
• Developing electronic workflows for all accounts payable tasks. Negotiating favorable credit and discount terms with vendors and subcontractors.
• Ensuring purchase validity by comparing various documents.
• Organizing bi-weekly company check runs.
• Overseeing subcontractor billing approvals.
• Auditing vendor and subcontractor statements and maintaining electronic records.
• Creating weekly dashboard reports for executive review.

Preferred Computer Experience:

Dexter + Cheney Cloud Accounting Software
Microsoft SharePoint 
Advanced level Excel
