The Role
We are looking for an AI Solutions & Enablement Lead to help establish and scale the enterprise AI function within a rapidly growing energy technology business.
This is an opportunity to play a foundational role in how AI is introduced, developed, and adopted across the organization, combining hands-on solution development with strategic planning, stakeholder engagement, and organizational change.
The successful candidate will work closely with senior leadership to identify opportunities where AI can improve business processes, automate workflows, and support better decision-making across departments, including Engineering, Operations, Finance, HR, Sales, and Service.
A significant part of the role will involve personally designing, building and implementing AI agents and applications that solve real business problems. The company is looking for someone who can move beyond prototypes and individual productivity tools to develop solutions that wider business teams can securely deploy, maintain, and adopt.
Beyond technical development, you will help establish the operating principles, governance frameworks, training programs, and implementation processes needed to scale AI adoption across the organization.

Responsibilities Include
Identify, evaluate and prioritize AI opportunities across multiple business functions.
Personally design, prototype, develop and implement AI agents, copilots and automation solutions that address real business requirements.
Work with business stakeholders to understand operational challenges and translate them into practical AI applications.
Establish repeatable development, testing, deployment and support processes for enterprise AI solutions.
Help define the company's AI strategy, operating model, standards and implementation roadmap.
Evaluate AI platforms, tools and technologies based on technical suitability, business value, security and scalability.
Develop training programs, workshops and enablement resources to support AI adoption across the business.
Partner with IT, Cybersecurity, Legal and Data teams to establish responsible AI governance and appropriate controls.
Measure adoption, business impact, licensing utilization and the value delivered through AI initiatives.
Work closely with the Senior Data Architect to ensure AI solutions can access reliable, governed enterprise data.
Support the continued development of the AI function as the organization grows.
The Candidate
Approximately 10+ years of relevant professional experience, including at least 2–3 years working with AI technologies or AI-driven business transformation.
Demonstrable experience personally developing and deploying AI agents, copilots or AI-enabled applications for business teams.
Strong software development foundations, including an understanding of development, testing, integration and release processes.
Experience implementing AI solutions beyond individual experimentation or proof-of-concept projects.
Strong understanding of generative AI technologies and how to apply them in enterprise environments.
Experience evaluating technical solutions and translating business requirements into implementation plans.
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Experience delivering training, driving technology adoption or supporting organizational change.
Understanding of AI governance, security, responsible use and the considerations involved in deploying solutions across a business.
Strong problem-solving skills, commercial awareness and the ability to work independently in a developing technology function.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Analytics or a related field.
Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Azure AI, GitHub Copilot, Claude Enterprise, Power Platform, Snowflake Cortex or similar platforms would be advantageous.
Candidates may come from software engineering, AI engineering, solutions architecture, technical consulting, automation, digital transformation or enterprise technology backgrounds. We are particularly interested in individuals who combine genuine hands-on development with the ability to influence stakeholders and introduce new technology across an organization.
Previous experience in energy storage or renewable energy is not essential. The company is open to candidates from other technically complex industries who can demonstrate relevant AI implementation experience.
