The Role

As the C&I Energy Storage Sales Director, you will lead efforts to expand the company’s presence in the Commercial & Industrial, and small utility markets across the US. In this pivotal role, you will combine technical sales expertise with strategic growth initiatives to position the company’s innovative technology as the top choice for safety, reliability, and sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership: Drive sales growth across sectors such as public utilities, data centers, commercial buildings, and oil refineries by presenting solutions tailored to diverse customer requirements.
Customer Engagement: Deliver compelling presentations and marketing materials to decision-makers, building trust and securing buy-in across industries.
Market Strategy: Collaborate with the leadership team to identify and target customers who value the distinct advantages of this technology, even at a premium price point.
Sector Adaptability: Develop and refine pitches to align with the unique needs of each market segment, ensuring effective market penetration.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the engineering team to align technical capabilities with customer demands.

Key Qualifications

Industry Experience: Demonstrated success in sales within sectors such as battery storage, inverters, HVAC, transformers, or similar C&I electromechanical products.
Adaptable and Hands-On: A self-starter with strong presentation skills who is comfortable traveling as needed.
Technical Aptitude: Engineering degree or a strong technical background is highly preferred.
Market Insight: Knowledge of corporate budgeting, O&M processes, and decision-making cycles.
Innovative Thinker: Ability to transition between industries and bring fresh perspectives is highly valued.
