The role Lead the US battery storage engineering team across product development, pre-sales, and project delivery, driving innovation and ensuring successful project execution.
Define and drive ESS product development roadmap, aligning it with industry trends and customer needs.
Provide expert technical guidance and support to customers on energy storage solutions.
Collaborate with customers and partners during design and construction for optimal system integration.
Liaise between customers and internal product team, ensuring clear communication of technical requirements.
Work with service team to troubleshoot and provide on-site technical support.
Conduct on-site visits and field support to ensure system functionality and compliance.
Requirements
Proven leader with 5+ years of experience driving successful initiatives.
Technical expert in ESS, encompassing battery technologies, power electronics, and system-level design.
Extensive knowledge of ESS product specifications and system requirements for various ISO markets.
In-depth understanding of relevant regulations and standards, including UL9540/A, NFPA, NEC, and local fire and electrical codes.
Experienced in product value engineering and cost optimization strategies.
Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
