We seek a Sales Director to join a US manufacturer of power electronics and UPS solutions for the Commercial and Industrial market. The company boasts over 50 years of experience in the US and Europe, offering highly differentiated and reliable products.

Position Scope:

The Director of Sales and Marketing will be responsible for selling the company's UPS and power converter solutions. As a key executive leadership team member, this individual will have extensive experience delivering innovative energy solutions to the utility and C&I sectors, especially in selling UPS for the IT (Data Center) and telecommunications industries.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the company's sales, marketing, and business development efforts in the UPS sector.
  • Provide strategic guidance to shape and enhance the company's product, service, and go-to-market strategies.
  • Strengthen sales, marketing, and channel development tactics to optimize revenue from current and potential clients, reducing reliance on external representatives and distributors.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences with compelling presentations.
  • Demonstrate expertise in negotiating large contracts with complex commercial terms.

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in selling to the C&I market.
  • Proficiency in strategy, sales, and marketing within UPS, Solar, Energy Storage, Power Converter, Microgrid, or EV Charging sectors.
  • Proven personal sales success with a focus on delivering value to customers.
  • Strong leadership, management, and mentorship skills to enhance the existing team.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and executive boardroom presentation skills.
