The role Join a key growth team with accelerated progression opportunities in the service center of excellence. The role will perform various engineering activities for the analysis, operation, testing and repair of solar inverters and battery storage.
Perform as a lead on complex field engineering assignments (software and hardware).
Interact with customers to provide training and explain the technical scope of projects.
Create Field Service procedures for troubleshooting and maintenance.
Coordinate with R&D engineering in China for the generation of technical documents.
Lead the preparation of technical reports to the customer
Provide feedback to the R&D team on possible design improvements
Help repair activities, performing electrical and electronic troubleshooting
Work with customer SCADA engineers to set-up systems communication and parameters
Research alternative components that can be used in the field
The candidate
Electrical engineering degree or similar
Strong technical writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Ability to work with test equipment
Basic knowledge of electrical safety standards
Any industry background considered, power conversion or battery technology advantageous
Intermediate or advanced Mandarin speaking and/or writing skills
