The role Join a key growth team with accelerated progression opportunities. The role will perform various engineering activities for the installation, operation, testing and maintenance of solar inverters and battery storage.
Perform as a lead on complex field engineering assignments (software and hardware).
Interact with customers to provide training and explain the technical scope of projects.
Create Field Service procedures for troubleshooting and maintenance.
Coordinate with R&D engineering for the generation of technical documents.
Lead the preparation of technical reports to the customer
Provide feedback to the R&D team on possible design improvements
Help repair activities, performing electrical and electronic troubleshooting
Work with customer SCADA engineers to set-up systems communication and parameters
Research alternative components that can be used in the field
The candidate
Electrical engineering experience in a field or testing environment
Experience in solar, energy storage, or power transmission (e.g. transformers)
Strong technical writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills
Basic knowledge of electrical safety standards
Electrical engineering degree advantageous but not essential and electrical technicians with strong hands on field experience will be considered
