Role Diverse role covering sales support, product management, and technical activities for early stages of utility-scale solar and energy storage developments.
Position company as preferred solution provider for new interconnection applications by building relationships with developers, independent engineers and owner engineers
Provide technical guidance during feasibility and system impact studies
Identify, recommend and vet new and enhanced products and services through competitor analysis, monitoring market trends, and assessing customer needs
Create technical material for, and provide training on, new solutions
Define hardware and software requirements for projects and communicate these to engineering team and clients
Prepare and deliver technical presentations at conferences and internal/client meetings
Lead technical and commercial proposal development for small projects and provide technical support for large projects
The candidate
Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineerin
Experience with power conversion technologies for energy storage, wind, solar or similar
Background in power systems analysis with familiarity of modeling tools such as PSSE, PSCAD or Aspen
Experience in interconnection projects for utility-scale renewable developments desirable
Strong verbal and written presentation skills
Ability to identify competitive advantages and areas for product improvements
