Role
Diverse role covering sales support, product management, and technical activities for early stages of utility-scale solar and energy storage developments.
  • Position company as preferred solution provider for new interconnection applications by building relationships with developers, independent engineers and owner engineers
  • Provide technical guidance during feasibility and system impact studies
  • Identify, recommend and vet new and enhanced products and services through competitor analysis, monitoring market trends, and assessing customer needs
  • Create technical material for, and provide training on, new solutions
  • Define hardware and software requirements for projects and communicate these to engineering team and clients
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations at conferences and internal/client meetings
  • Lead technical and commercial proposal development for small projects and provide technical support for large projects
The candidate
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineerin
  • Experience with power conversion technologies for energy storage, wind, solar or similar
  • Background in power systems analysis with familiarity of modeling tools such as PSSE, PSCAD or Aspen
  • Experience in interconnection projects for utility-scale renewable developments desirable
  • Strong verbal and written presentation skills
  • Ability to identify competitive advantages and areas for product improvements
