We are seeking a Finance Director for one of the world's leading energy companies. The company supports its customers in their energy and digital transformations by developing local renewable energy sources and promoting energy efficiency.
As the Finance Director, you will take on a key leadership role, directly influencing the financial direction and success of the company. Your responsibilities will ensure the financial well-being of the organization aligns with its growth ambitions of highly exciting new division.
Working closely with the CFO, you’ll oversee the company’s financial reporting processes, implement strong financial controls, and provide timely, accurate insights to support decision-making.
Core Responsibilities:
Financial Strategy & Analysis:
- Partner with senior leadership to create and execute financial strategies that drive both growth and long-term sustainability.
- Lead the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) team, developing detailed budgets, forecasts, and models to assess current performance and forecast future financial health.
- Track key metrics and KPIs to evaluate progress toward the company’s strategic goals and recommend areas for improvement.
Financial Reporting & Compliance:
- Ensure the accurate and timely preparation of financial reports, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow reports.
- Oversee external audits, tax filings, and other regulatory compliance matters, working closely with auditors and legal teams.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration; an MBA or CPA is preferred.
- Proven experience in senior finance roles with a track record of success.
- Strong knowledge of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulations.
- Analytical thinker with the ability to turn data into actionable business insights.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging and influencing stakeholders across all levels.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide teams toward achieving key objectives.
- Sound judgment, with a commitment to ethical decision-making and results-driven outcomes.
