The company: Leading multi-national renewable energy technology company. Rapidly growing team of 230 in Massachusetts covering engineers, sales, and field operations. The team is responsible for designing and delivering large energy storage systems for utility customers.
The organization is building multiple battery plants which will support this team’s projects, however the local team is all office based, so manufacturing doesn’t fall under this HR scope. Company values include employee development, sustainability, collaboration, diversity, and innovation.
The role: This will be the most senior HR professional for this location and division. As part of the senior management team, it will manage the HR team and oversee a growing number of 230 employees.
The role will cover all aspects of HR providing strategic direction and coaching in areas including talent acquisition, staff retention, employee relations, organizational structure, labor law compliance, resource planning, and performance management.
Essential requirements:
Bachelor degree or higher in Human Resources or related discipline
10+ total years of HR experience including 5+ years in people management
Experience working in an engineering or manufacturing company
Experience working in large multi-national business with foreign HQ preferred
Ability to work well in a fast-paced, changing environment
Strong working knowledge of local, state and federal employment regulations and laws
Ability to work flexible hours to support and work with HQ and global sites
