Role
Diverse role combining product management and technical sales activities with a focus on early stages of utility-scale solar and energy storage developments.
  • Position company as preferred solution provider for new interconnection applications by building relationships with developers, independent engineers and owner engineers
  • Provide technical guidance during feasibility and system impact studies
  • Identify, recommend and vet new and enhanced products and services through competitor analysis, monitoring market trends, and assessing customer needs
  • Assist R&D team develop and implement new products and features
  • Create technical material for, and provide training on, new solutions
  • Define hardware and software requirements for projects and communicate these to engineering team and clients
  • Prepare and deliver technical presentations at conferences and internal/client meetings
  • Lead technical and commercial proposal development for small projects and provide technical support for large projects
The candidate
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
  • Strong technical knowledge of inverter technology and market trends
  • Good customer facing experience with experience in a business facing role such as application engineering, product management, or business development 
  • Ability to identify competitive advantages and areas for product improvements
  • Strong verbal and written presentation skills
  • Familiarity with the interconnection process for utility-scale renewable developments (desirable)
  • Familiarity with power systems analysis and modeling (desirable)
