Role Cybersecurity (OT and IT) lead for North America with high influence over decision making.
Design, implement, and manage cybersecurity measures to protect the organization's digital assets.
Monitor and respond to security incidents, ensuring timely resolution and prevention of future occurrences.
Stay current with industry best practices and emerging threats to continuously enhance the cybersecurity posture.
Ensure IT infrastructure is developed, implemented, and maintained in accordance with NIST 800-53 protocols.
Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to ensure ongoing compliance.
Evaluate, recommend and procure new technologies to improve efficiency, security, and performance.
In addition to the above core cybersecurity responsibilities, the role may involve supporting some IT infrastructure management. This requirement could be variable depending on the interests and skills of the successful candidate.
Essential requirements
5+ years in cybersecurity, with good knowledge in both OT and IT protocols
Experience in the power & energy industry
Experience in vulnerability management and threat modeling
Articulate with excellent stakeholder management skills
Desirable requirements
Experience working with government agencies such as Department of Energy or Department of Defense
Experience delivering cybersecurity programs to ISO 27001, NIST 800-53 or similar
