We seek a highly driven residential and commercial focused Key Account Director to join a leading global inverter manufacturer for the solar and energy storage markets. 

The company has a well-established, well-established product in the US market with an impressive client base. The US engineering, technical support, and sales team is growing fast, and this is an excellent opportunity to join a driven, down-to-earth, and flat-structured team. They have experienced steady and consistent growth to several thousand employees on multiple continents and are now in a strong financial position, to continue their rapid growth.

As the Key Account Director, you will develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for their solar and energy storage products within the residential and C&I markets. This includes identifying new business opportunities and building strong relationships with decision-makers at national solar installers and EPCs, across the United States. You will join a well-established company with a robust financial position and a flat-structured, driven team set to grow significantly over the next two years.

Key Responsibilities

•    Identify new business opportunities and cultivate strategic partnerships with EPC and National Solar Installers

•    Conduct prospecting, market research, and collaborate closely with the product development team to tailor solutions customers.
•    Manage established customer relationships to ensure they receive exceptional service and support.
•    Conduct regular customer check-ins, address inquiries, and handle issues or concerns.
•    Collaborate with product management teams to refine the product portfolio for the US market based on customer and business partner feedback and industry trends.
•    Work closely with target companies to negotiate and finalize contracts for the sale of solar and energy storage products.
•    Collaborate with legal teams to ensure contracts comply with relevant regulations and standards.
•    Forecast sales targets and report progress against those targets to senior management.
•    Analyze sales data, identify trends, and provide recommendations to enhance sales performance.
