With multi-billion dollar US revenue and a market-leading position in solar, the company is now scaling its presence in battery storage, developing its own in-house cells and launching next-generation ESS products with true vertical integration.

This is not a new entrant to Latin America. The company has had a presence in the LATAM market for 14 years, giving it a level of regional stability, customer familiarity, and market understanding that many newer energy storage businesses cannot offer. They are particularly well established in Brazil and Chile, two of the most important renewable energy markets in the region.

Despite their global scale, the LATAM ESS team remains small and agile, offering the freedom to take ownership, influence product strategy, and help shape the next stage of battery storage growth across the region. The team culture is flexible, international, and highly product-focused, with strong backing from a global business known for product quality, customer success, and long-term commitment to renewable energy.


The role
This is a new Product Manager ESS role focused on the LATAM region, sitting between customers, regional sales, R&D, HQ, and internal pre-sales teams.

The role will be responsible for helping position the company’s ESS products across Latin America, ensuring solutions are competitive, compliant, and suited to local customer and market requirements. This will include presenting products to customers and internal sales teams, gathering feedback from the market, working with R&D on regional requirements, and supporting certification processes to help the business enter and grow in new LATAM countries.

This is a strong opportunity for someone with BESS experience who enjoys working across product, technical, commercial, and customer-facing environments. Product Management experience is valuable, but candidates from Solutions Engineering, Applications Engineering, Pre-Sales, EPC, developer, or technical customer-facing backgrounds can also be relevant.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Present ESS products to customers, internal sales teams, and regional stakeholders
  • Act as a key link between LATAM customers, sales, pre-sales, R&D, and HQ
  • Gather customer, market, regulatory, and certification requirements across Latin America
  • Work directly with R&D and HQ to provide feedback on product needs, local standards, and customer expectations
  • Support certification processes required to enter and expand into new LATAM countries
  • Help position ESS products for residential, C&I, and utility-scale applications across the region
  • Support product training, technical documentation, customer meetings, tenders, and pilot projects
  • Monitor competitor products, market trends, pricing, and customer needs to support product strategy
  • Ensure ESS solutions are technically credible, commercially relevant, and suited to regional market demands
The Candidate
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Renewable Energy, Power Electronics, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
  • BESS experience is essential
  • Experience in Product Management, Applications Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Pre-Sales, Technical Sales Support, EPC, developer, or customer-facing technical roles
  • Strong understanding of ESS technology, ideally including batteries, inverters, BMS, EMS, controls, and storage use cases
  • Experience across utility-scale BESS is preferred, although strong C&I storage experience will also be considered
  • Knowledge of LATAM energy markets, customer requirements, certifications, and regional standards would be highly valuable
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to present technical products clearly to both technical and commercial audiences
  • Fluent English required, Spanish strongly preferred, and Portuguese also highly valuable for the LATAM market
