Summary

We are working with one of the world's leading Solar and Energy Storage Manufacturers. This well-known organization has a large portfolio of completed storage projects in the US and globally.

Due to significant investment, they seek to double their US team numbers from 200 to 400 people within the next two years. Energy storage is currently the smaller division but will see most of the growth, offering outstanding career advancement opportunities joining at this earlier stage.

Role

They are searching for an exceptional Manager of Commissioning to spearhead a team of up to 7 commissioning managers in driving renewable energy storage & PV solutions. They will oversee all activities during the Commissioning and testing of the PV and ESS installations up to commercial operations and handover to the customer. You will review the Owner’s requirements and Basis of Design. Whilst also, preparing Project Commissioning Plans.

This role manages and controls pre-commissioning, cold and Hot commissioning, and acceptance testing activities to achieve desired targets in conformity with established cost, quality, schedules, and HSE performance.

We need someone passionate about renewables who can manage execution risks and travel occasionally to support on-site commissioning. If you are that strategic leader who can deliver complex projects from vision to reality, then this is the opportunity for you. 

Requirements

  • Minimum five (5) years experience in the renewable / power distribution industry
  • Minimum three (3) years in a project management role from any of the following industries: global OEM, energy storage, battery manufacturer, or system integrator.
  • Demonstrated knowledge in electrical systems installation, construction, labor estimation, and different site layout, etc.
  • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Office Suite - Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Ability to demonstrate HSE experience and knowledge related to site constriction and electrical safety.
  • Motivated self-starter with complex problem-solving skills.
