We are partnering with one of North America’s fastest growing cleantech manufacturers to hire for their ultra-modern facility in Burlington.

The company operates cutting-edge facilities in Washington, Toronto, and soon South Carolina, delivering best-in-class, US-made solar products using advanced technology and automated processes.

Job Summary: This senior-level role involves leading the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects and maintenance strategies to drive efficiency and reliability. You will oversee a team of professionals, fostering innovation and continuous improvement to support the company's growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead engineering projects, including installations, upgrades, and process improvements, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery.
  • Develop and implement maintenance strategies to optimize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance management to the engineering and maintenance teams.
  • Manage budgets with a focus on cost control while maintaining quality and safety standards.
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards in all activities.
  • Implement asset management programs, including preventive maintenance schedules and inspections.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data and analytics to enhance processes.
  • Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure delivery of high-quality goods and services.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
  • Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to introduce innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • Expertise in engineering principles, maintenance strategies, and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM).
  • Proven project management skills, leading engineering projects from concept to completion.
  • Familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS) and data-driven decision-making.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all organizational levels.
  • Experience in budget management with a focus on cost efficiency.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field); a Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Proven experience in engineering and maintenance management, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
