We are partnering with one of North America’s fastest growing cleantech manufacturers to hire for their ultra-modern facility in Burlington.

Job Summary: This senior-level role involves leading the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects and maintenance strategies to drive efficiency and reliability. You will oversee a team of professionals, fostering innovation and continuous improvement to support the company's growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead engineering projects, including installations, upgrades, and process improvements, ensuring timely and on-budget delivery.
Develop and implement maintenance strategies to optimize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
Provide leadership, mentorship, and performance management to the engineering and maintenance teams.
Manage budgets with a focus on cost control while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Ensure compliance with regulations and safety standards in all activities.
Implement asset management programs, including preventive maintenance schedules and inspections.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using data and analytics to enhance processes.
Manage vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and ensure delivery of high-quality goods and services.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
Stay current on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to introduce innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
Expertise in engineering principles, maintenance strategies, and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM).
Proven project management skills, leading engineering projects from concept to completion.
Familiarity with maintenance management systems (CMMS) and data-driven decision-making.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills across all organizational levels.
Experience in budget management with a focus on cost efficiency.
Knowledge of safety regulations and industry standards.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related field); a Master’s degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Proven experience in engineering and maintenance management, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
