Role
Support customers with design, testing, installation and commissioning of communication and control systems
Carry out analysis to develop deep understanding of market requirements and then translate customer needs into an innovative product roadmap
Work with R&D and third-party vendors to deliver requirements for, and oversee development of, new products and features
Ensure product portfolio is fit for the market in relation to performance, user experience, connectivity etc.
Provide product training to customers and colleagues
Maintain documentation for current and future products
The candidate
Degree in Control Systems, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering or similar
Experience with Modbus essential (this is the main communication protocol)
Experience in industrial or utility industries, renewable energy experience isn’t required
Experience with programming languages such as C, C++ and VBA
Experience in Cloud API desirable but not essential
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, time management, and problem-solving skills
