Role Responsible for coordinating the entire lifecycle of Utility & C&I battery energy storage system (BESS) products. Ensure solutions completely address customer needs.
Define and communicate BESS product strategy and roadma
Remain up to date on competition’s products and integration partner roadmaps
Gathering and prioritize product and customer requirements
Establish and deliver Market and Product Requirement Documents
Work with R&D and external consultants to define scope-of-work and deliverables
Track compatibility of BESS products with current federal, state, and municipal standards
Provide technical training and deal-specific technical support
Help develop documentation for Datasheets, Installation, Commissioning, O&M
Essential Candidate requirements
Experience in C&I or Utility-scale renewable energy product
Experience in product management or in program management, project engineering, application engineering, or similar with desire to progress into product management
Technical background with 5+ years of overall experience
Excellent teamworking skills with ability to influence cross-functional teams
Strong technical writing, communication, and presentation skill
Comfortable in fast-paced environment
Preferred requirements
Bachelor degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineerin
Experience in battery storage
Knowledge of control systems such as PLC, SCADA, DCS, RTU, or DAS
Knowledge of industry standards such as UL, NFPA, IEEE, or Sunspec
