As Product Marketing Manager, you’ll sit at the intersection of energy technology, commercial strategy, and market storytelling – shaping how one of the world’s most recognized technology and energy brands takes its next generation of energy products to market.
This is a strategic, highly commercial product marketing role focused on grid-scale energy storage. You’ll work across product, engineering, sales, and marketing teams to translate sophisticated energy technology into compelling market propositions, build campaigns around high-growth applications, and give commercial teams the tools and messaging they need to win.
This opportunity is open at the Senior or Staff level and is based on-site in Palo Alto.
Your Mission
Develop and execute product marketing strategies and campaigns for a market-leading energy storage platform.
Build application-led campaigns that connect product capabilities with specific customer needs and emerging opportunities across the power market
Own product positioning, messaging, value propositions, and commercial storytelling across the customer journey
Translate complex technical capabilities into clear, credible, and compelling narratives for energy customers.
Develop high-impact commercial content including sales presentations, product collateral, FAQs, technical materials, and campaign assets.
Partner closely with sales teams to understand customer requirements and create tools that strengthen commercial conversations and accelerate growth.
Work alongside product and engineering teams to understand new capabilities and turn them into differentiated market propositions.
Support new product and feature launches, from initial positioning and messaging through campaign development and market activation.
Collaborate across digital, web, video, design, and broader marketing teams to deliver consistent and impactful product messaging.
Measure campaign performance and use customer, commercial, and market insights to improve marketing effectiveness continuously
The Candidate
Strong product marketing experience within renewable energy, power, or energy technology
Experience marketing physical products or hardware within the energy sector
Background could include battery storage, solar, EV charging, wind, power electronics, distributed energy, or adjacent renewable technologies.
Utility-scale experience would be advantageous, although candidates from strong commercial & industrial or residential energy backgrounds are equally relevant.
Demonstrated ability to translate sophisticated technical products into clear commercial messaging and compelling customer-facing content
Commercially minded, with an understanding of customer applications, competitive positioning, and how effective product marketing supports revenue growth
Comfortable operating at both strategic and executional levels – from defining positioning and campaign strategy to developing the sales materials that bring it to life
Strong analytical capability with a data-driven approach to measuring campaign performance and market impact
Excellent cross-functional collaborator, comfortable working closely with engineering, product, sales, creative, and senior stakeholders
Likely to bring significant marketing experience, including a strong track record specifically within product marketing
The Company
This is an opportunity to join one of the world’s most recognized technology and energy brands and a major force in the global energy transition.
The business combines exceptional brand recognition with market-leading technology, enormous investment, world-class engineering and manufacturing capability, and the scale to deploy energy infrastructure across some of the world's largest and most sophisticated projects.
Its energy business is already a major player in grid-scale battery storage, with technology deployed across global power markets and a rapidly expanding opportunity as renewable generation, electrification, grid constraints, and electricity demand reshape the energy system.
For a product marketer, this creates a particularly powerful platform. You’ll have an exceptional technology story to tell, sophisticated products with tangible real-world applications, and the commercial scale to turn successful positioning and campaigns into meaningful market impact.
This isn't traditional corporate marketing. The role sits close to the technology, the customer, and the commercial organization – understanding where the market is moving, identifying the applications where the product can create the most value, and building the narrative and campaigns that help capture those opportunities.
Why This Role Stands Out
Market Leadership: Join one of the leading players in the rapidly expanding global battery storage market
Exceptional Brand: Work within one of the most recognized and influential technology and energy businesses in the world
Technology at Scale: Market sophisticated energy hardware backed by significant engineering, manufacturing, and deployment capability
Commercial Impact: Build campaigns and sales tools directly around customer applications and growth opportunities
Strategic & Hands-On: Shape product positioning and go-to-market strategy while remaining close to execution and the commercial organization
Energy Transition: Work at the center of major shifts in renewable generation, storage, electrification, grid flexibility, and electricity demand

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced energy product marketer to combine deep industry knowledge with exceptional technology, brand, and scale.
For someone who understands renewable energy hardware and knows how to turn technical capability into compelling commercial positioning, this offers the chance to shape how a market-leading energy platform is understood, positioned, and sold as the global power system transforms.
