A grid-scale energy storage developer is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join their team.

Over the past five years, the company has built a portfolio of 1,400 MW of utility-scale energy storage projects that are either operational or under construction, with a robust pipeline of over 10,000 MW in active development.
Position Overview: The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing utility-scale Battery Energy Storage and Substation Projects. Key duties include overseeing Project Safety, Scheduling, Budget, Contract Management, and Construction Quality. While this role is primarily office-based, occasional travel to project sites will be necessary.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage overall project design, coordinating internal and external engineering resources.
Oversee the project plan, conduct site kick-off and close-out meetings with the construction manager.
Handle design RFIs, coordinating with engineering teams.
Engage proactively with landowners to meet their expectations.
Lead by example, emphasizing safety as the top priority. Reinforce safe behaviors, correct at-risk behaviors, and ensure hazard analysis occur before work begins.
Ensure team compliance with standard operating procedures and provide job-specific training.
Deliver excellence in project management and maintain strong relationships with EPC.
Manage the project budget, including costs, forecasts, procurement, and materials management.
Oversee field purchases of project-related materials and equipment as required.
Ensure EPC adherence to the contract and review change orders.
Maintain a full understanding of all contractual obligations.
