This role is replacing someone who moved into the sales team, and they will now be your counterpart. The manager is extremely supportive whilst also allowing freedom.
Role Provide technical guidance and develop proposals for utility scale PV inverter and energy storage clients in Mountain and Central regions (the role can be based anywhere in the US though).
Design technical solutions including definition of hardware and software requirements and creation of technical specification
Create technical and commercial proposals including pricing strategies to maximise margins and detailed costs
Present solutions to customers via technical meetings, conferences, articles and publications
Support product documentation to highlight value proposition and ensure technical accuracy
Monitor industry trends and recommend product improvements
The candidate
Degree in Engineering, preferably electrical or mechanical
Strong customer facing skills, ideally with experience in sales/application engineering
Experience within solar, energy storage, or other power electronics equipment
Experience with technical proposals, costing, pricing and other commercial tasks desirable
