We have partnered with a leading global energy storage organization to help them find an experienced Business Development Manager to spearhead their portable energy storage division.
The company is experiencing rapid US market growth and has set ambitious targets of increasing revenue by five times and headcount by four times over the next 12 months. You would be joining their homes division. The business also has an EV charging and home energy storage system, residential inverter hardware, and software offering.
The incoming will be responsible for but not limited to the following:
- Helping formulate strategies alongside the Global General Manager
- Selling portable power stations for off-grid homes and RVs
- Creating and executing e-commerce and installer sales channels
- Forging partnerships with major US retailers
Requirements
- Fluent in English and Mandarin or Cantonese and familiar with the local environment of the United States.
- Must have experience selling directly to consumers through e-commerce and retail markets and being familiar with North American channels such as Walmart, Lowe's, The Home Depot, KA stores, channel agents, Amazon, and Shopify.
- Must have sold batteries or similar products like chargers or other home electronics.
- Experience in channel sales & marketing, partnerships, business development, and consumer electronics /smart home applications.
