We are working with one of the most globally known energy storage organizations. They have developed quickly into a prominent renewable energy solutions provider, specializing in cutting-edge solar battery storage system hardware and software.
The organization operates across all scales of clean energy solutions, from residential to utility-scale. They seek a regional sales director to develop their channel sales.
The incoming will play a critical role in nurturing valuable contractor partnerships, overseeing distribution networks, both direct and indirect, and leading a team of territory managers, with the focus initially on achieving sales as a sole contributor but quickly progressing into a leadership role in the next six months.
Responsibilities:
Distribution and Indirect Channel Management:
- Execute a comprehensive channel strategy to expand the company’s distribution network.
- Identify and evaluate potential distribution partners, negotiate contracts, and build mutually beneficial relationships.
- Monitor and optimize distribution partner performance to ensure alignment with sales objectives.
Achieving Sales Targets:
- Develop region-specific sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Monitor sales performance, analyze data, and identify areas for improvement.
- Lead by example, engage in sales activities, conduct customer visits, and close deals.
Developing Elite-Level Contractor Partnerships:
- Identify and evaluate potential solar contractors and installation companies for strategic partnerships.
- Collaborate with partners to create joint marketing initiatives, incentive programs, and sales strategies.
- Provide training and resources to empower partners to effectively promote their unique products and services.
Team Leadership and Management:
- Recruit, train, and mentor a team of Account Managers.
- Set clear goals and performance expectations.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations, offer coaching, and support professional development.
- Foster a collaborative, customer-centric culture.
Reporting and Collaboration:
- Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts, offering insights.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product management, and operations teams to ensure alignment of strategies and goals.
