The Position:The Business Development Manager - Service is a remote or hybrid role that plays a critical part in this rapidly expanding company. This dynamic, fast-paced position reports to the Director of Asset Management or Head of Services in North America and is an essential Service team member.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Lead the preparation of bids for customers in North America for PV and BESS projects, offering service contracts such as O&M contracts, SLAs, LTSAs, and MSAs.
- Coordinate with the Sales team on non-standard terms within contracts.
- Review service prices with the Service Management team and create standard price offers for bids.
- Collaborate with legal, service, and O&M departments on any special requirements for service contracts related to PV and BESS.
- Work closely with other members of the Service and Sales teams to identify best practices and recommend process improvements.
- Present final contracts to the Service organization to ensure they meet all requirements.
- Collaborate with the Service team on new markets and potential service offerings.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for Service senior management.
- Work with Asset Managers to ensure the smooth execution of service contracts.
Qualifications:
- Familiarity with global service organizations and service contracts.
- Ability to manage customers across different countries with varying expectations.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to understand the nuances of opportunities and related services.
- An analytical self-starter with a strong focus on detail.
- Good understanding of sales and project execution processes.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, capable of handling multiple complex projects across diverse areas.
