We are partnering with a leading Solar and Energy Storage Manufacturer that has a proven track record of successful global renewable projects. They are planning to double the size of their U.S. team in the coming years, with a strong focus on solar and energy storage as key areas for growth.

The Position:The Business Development Manager - Service is a remote or hybrid role that plays a critical part in this rapidly expanding company. This dynamic, fast-paced position reports to the Director of Asset Management or Head of Services in North America and is an essential Service team member.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the preparation of bids for customers in North America for PV and BESS projects, offering service contracts such as O&M contracts, SLAs, LTSAs, and MSAs.
  • Coordinate with the Sales team on non-standard terms within contracts.
  • Review service prices with the Service Management team and create standard price offers for bids.
  • Collaborate with legal, service, and O&M departments on any special requirements for service contracts related to PV and BESS.
  • Work closely with other members of the Service and Sales teams to identify best practices and recommend process improvements.
  • Present final contracts to the Service organization to ensure they meet all requirements.
  • Collaborate with the Service team on new markets and potential service offerings.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for Service senior management.
  • Work with Asset Managers to ensure the smooth execution of service contracts.

Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with global service organizations and service contracts.
  • Ability to manage customers across different countries with varying expectations.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to understand the nuances of opportunities and related services.
  • An analytical self-starter with a strong focus on detail.
  • Good understanding of sales and project execution processes.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills, capable of handling multiple complex projects across diverse areas.
