Currently, we are in search of a Senior Project Manager to guide projects from contract initiation to completion, specializing in the construction phase. The company, which has recently secured significant funding, is experiencing a period of growth. Team members share a common goal and enthusiasm for enhancing the lives of underserved communities globally, with each individual owning a stake in the company.

The Role

As a Senior Project Manager, you will collaborate with internal technical teams, external engineers, contractors, and installers. Your role extends to supporting pre-contract project development with your expertise in project execution processes (e.g., RFPs, technical sales support, pricing, and site visits).

The projects involve small to medium-sized systems incorporating various renewable technologies designed for remote and challenging grid areas. The position is remote, with approximately 20% travel, primarily in California.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee non-technical tasks like permitting, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Manage relationships and communications with customers and subcontractors.
  • Provide support for pre-contract project development, including competitive bids among subcontractors.
  • Contribute to the creation of processes, such as developing templates and trackers for project activities.


Desired Experience

  • Minimum of five years managing projects from contracting to commissioning.
  • Experience with C&I or Utility projects.
  • Proficiency in MS Projects.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent scheduling abilities.
