The role: Oversee design, implementation, and operations of utility-scale BESS control systems including ISO market interfacing, plant performance management, and cyber standards. Responsibilities include:
PPC, HMI, and RTU programming including technical documentation
Plant automation tasks to ensure reliability and availability
Technical support for complex system problems
Subject matter expert for control & instrumentation systems
Oversee network technology upgrades including installation of hardware, software and integration testing
Participate in construction and plant commissioning activities
Work with EPC vendors during project bidding and execution
Requirements:
Utility-scale or large C&I renewable project experience
Experience with programming power plant controllers
PLC and RTU programming experience
SCADA Commissioning and System integration experience
