Leading multi-national renewable energy technology company. Rapidly growing team of 230 in Massachusetts covering engineers, sales, and field operations. The team is responsible for designing and delivering large energy storage systems for utility customers.
The organization is building multiple battery plants which will support this team’s projects, however the local team is all office based, so manufacturing doesn’t fall under this HR scope. Company values include employee development, sustainability, collaboration, diversity, and innovation.
The role:
Partners with leadership team to understand and execute the HR and talent strategy.
Oversee daily workflow of the department, including oversight of direct report(s).
Provides support and guidance to HR team members when complex, specialized, and sensitive questions and issues arise.
Supports the talent acquisition process, particularly for senior positions.
Assists in oversight of employee relations matters.
Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Maintains knowledge of HR trends, best practices, and regulations, and technologies.
Oversee administration and employee support for payroll, benefits and leave as needed.
Coordinate with third party administrator to manage disability claims according to the plan.
Handle COBRA, unemployment and workers compensation cases.
Collaborate and liaise with headquarters HR team on various aspects of the HR function.
Essential requirements:
Strong background in human resources business partnership
Bilingual English and Korean
Payroll and benefits experience
High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations
Analytical skills and ability to create useful and actionable reports from data
Desirable requirements:
Experience with ADP and SAP
Experience working with a multi-national company
Experience with an engineering or manufacturing company
