About the Role
Reporting directly to the CEO, the VP of Sales – North America will be responsible for building, leading, and mentoring a high-performing sales organization across the region. This includes overseeing regional sales managers, key account executives, and channel development teams.
You will shape and execute a bold commercial strategy, drive regional revenue growth, and play a pivotal role in expanding the company’s brand and footprint across the US and Canada.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a regional sales strategy aligned with global business goals.
Lead the sales function across North America, ensuring operational excellence and market responsiveness.
Identify new market segments, optimize channel partnerships, and scale existing customer relationships.
Team Building and Management
Recruit, coach, and inspire a high-impact sales team across multiple states and provinces.
Establish KPIs, training programs, and incentive plans to drive accountability and performance.
Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and customer-centric thinking.
Revenue Growth and Market Expansion
Oversee all sales forecasting, budgeting, and pipeline development.
Drive major account negotiations, deal structuring, and contract execution.
Support strategic partnerships with EPCs, distributors, developers, and utility players.
Executive Collaboration and Reporting
Act as the voice of the North American market to executive leadership and product teams.
Regularly report on performance metrics, market conditions, and competitive intelligence.
Influence product development and marketing strategies to ensure customer needs are met.
What We’re Looking For
10+ years of senior sales experience within the solar, energy storage, or broader cleantech sectors.
Demonstrated success scaling regional or national sales teams and delivering double-digit growth.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor, motivate, and manage cross-functional teams.
Deep understanding of residential and commercial energy markets, including channels and regulations.
Executive presence, exceptional communication skills, and a passion for renewable energy.
