The Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Manager to oversee all service warehouse operations at a new high-volume facility. Based in Houston, TX, this dynamic role reports to the Supply Chain Manager and plays a critical part in the company’s growth strategy. As a key leader, you will manage daily operations, ensure SLA performance, and drive best practices in warehouse management.

This is a fast-paced position ideal for a highly organized, results-driven professional passionate about renewable energy and supply chain excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all direct and temporary employees across service warehouse operations.
  • Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency in shipping, receiving, and inventory management to meet customer and project expectations.
  • Document all warehouse activities in SAP systems and maintain compliance with SLA performance requirements.
  • Implement and sustain best practices like 5S methodology to enhance efficiency and organization.
  • Establish and enforce safety policies, including forklift operations and workforce training, to prevent accidents.
  • Maintain accurate inventory through quarterly counts, forecasting, and tracking failure rate trends to adjust demands.
  • Coordinate service logistics, including scheduling shipments, tracking delays, and escalating issues as needed.
  • Review third-party orders and manage outside inventory, including spare parts and transformers.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Field Service, Sales, Finance, and Operations, to meet organizational goals.
  • Manage material requirements for field service and repair centers, ensuring timely availability of spare parts.

Requirements

  • Experience:
    • 5+ years of experience in warehouse operations, supervision, or management.
    • 3+ years in a service organization; solar inverter or electrical industry experience is a plus.
    • Experience in managing large-scale facilities dealing with large numbers of staff and high-value orders in a fast-paced environment.
