LG Energy Solution’s Queen Creek, Arizona battery plant is moving quickly toward completion, with production slated to begin in summer 2026. According to Queen Creek’s economic development office, the $5.5B facility is already about 60% complete, and hiring has begun in earnest.
When fully operational, the plant is expected to employ 2,800 people, making it one of the largest battery manufacturing sites in North America.
