Help Build the People Strategy for a Global Clean Energy Manufacturer Across North America & LATAM
This is an opportunity to join one of the world's largest clean energy manufacturers at a key stage of continued growth across the Americas.
We've partnered closely with this business over the past several years, supporting the growth of its Energy Storage division and working alongside its leadership team on several key appointments.
As the business continues to expand across North America and Latin America, they are now looking to appoint a Spanish-speaking HR Business Partner to support their growing teams across the region.
Our client is one of the world's largest clean energy manufacturers, with an established global presence across solar, battery energy storage, and clean energy technology.
Having invested significantly in its North American operations and U.S. manufacturing capability, the company is continuing to build its presence across the region. Today, they work with many of North America's largest utilities, EPCs, IPPs, developers, distributors, and energy infrastructure businesses.
That growth also requires continued development of the people and HR infrastructure behind the business.
The Opportunity
Based in California, you'll work closely with leadership and employees across North America and Latin America, taking responsibility for a broad range of HR and people-related matters across the region.
While you'll support hiring and workforce growth when needed, the role will focus more on HR business partnering, employee and labor relations, performance management, organizational development, and supporting managers across a rapidly growing international business.
You'll act as a key link between employees, leadership and the wider global HR organization, helping ensure the business has the right people processes and support in place as it continues to scale.
Your responsibilities will include:
Partnering with senior leaders and managers across North America and LATAM on people and organizational matters.
Leading employee and labor relations across the region.
Supporting managers with performance management, disciplinary matters, grievances, investigations and conflict resolution.
Providing guidance around California and wider U.S. employment practices and legislation.
Supporting HR matters across Latin America and working effectively across different cultures and employment environments.
Identifying and managing potential employee and labor relations risks.
Supporting workforce planning, organizational development and succession planning.
Coaching managers and building stronger people-management capability across the organization.
Supporting recruitment and onboarding where required, particularly for strategic or business-critical hires.
Working closely with global HR leadership to develop consistent policies and processes across the Americas.
Why This Role Stands Out
Regional Responsibility
Take on a genuinely international HRBP position supporting employees and leadership across North America and Latin America.
Broad HR leadership
This is a broad HR leadership opportunity with a strong focus on employee relations, labor relations, and business partnering rather than simply talent acquisition.
Major Global Platform
Join one of the world's largest clean energy manufacturers, with significant financial backing, global manufacturing capability and continued investment across the Americas.
High-Growth Industry
Work within a business operating across solar, battery energy storage and some of the fastest-growing areas of the global energy transition.
Build Something Lasting
Play an important role in developing the HR structure, processes and culture needed to support the company's continued growth across North America and LATAM.
What We're Looking For
We're interested in speaking with experienced HR professionals who can demonstrate:
Strong HR Business Partner or HR Generalist experience within a multinational organization.
Professional fluency in English and Spanish.
Strong employee and labor relations experience.
A good understanding of California employment law and HR practices.
Experience supporting employees across multiple U.S. states and ideally Latin America.
Experience managing complex employee relations matters including performance, disciplinary issues, grievances and investigations.
The confidence to advise and challenge senior managers on people-related decisions.
Experience supporting organizational growth, change and workforce planning.
Some exposure to recruitment and talent acquisition as part of a broader HR position.
The ability to operate independently across different countries, cultures and time zones.
Experience in solar, battery energy storage, renewable energy, or clean technology would be highly advantageous. However, we're also interested in people from adjacent industries, including manufacturing, automotive, EV/battery technology, engineering, and infrastructure.
This is a rare opportunity to join a globally established clean energy manufacturer while taking on a highly visible HR role across two of its most important growth regions.
For an experienced, Spanish-speaking HR professional looking to combine strategic HR business partnering with hands-on employee and labor relations across North America and LATAM, this is a chance to make a genuine impact as the organization continues to scale.
