Tonic is partnering with a global leader in advanced lithium-ion battery manufacturing as it continues to scale its state-of-the-art manufacturing operation in Queen Creek, Arizona.
We are looking for entry-level and early-career Production Engineers who are bilingual in either Korean/English or Chinese/English to join the growing engineering team.
This is an opportunity for an ambitious engineering graduate or early-career engineer to build their career within one of the world's most advanced manufacturing environments.
THE ROLE
You'll work directly within the production environment, supporting the performance, quality and efficiency of high-volume battery manufacturing operations.
Working alongside experienced engineering, production, quality and maintenance teams, you'll gain hands-on exposure to real-world manufacturing challenges from the beginning of your career.
Your responsibilities will include:
Monitoring production-line performance across throughput, efficiency and quality
Analyzing manufacturing data and production KPIs
Supporting root-cause analysis and corrective actions
Identifying opportunities to improve production performance
Supporting the introduction of new products and manufacturing equipment
Assisting with production trials and validation
Developing SOPs, work instructions and process documentation
Supporting Lean Manufacturing and Kaizen initiatives
Working with Production, Quality, Maintenance and Safety teams
Supporting operator and technician training
Helping drive continuous improvement across manufacturing operations
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
This opportunity is open to entry-level and early-career engineers.
You should have:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Manufacturing Engineering or another relevant engineering discipline
Bilingual fluency in either Korean & English or Chinese & English
An interest in developing a career within advanced manufacturing
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
A hands-on approach to engineering
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work effectively within a fast-paced production environment
Previous manufacturing experience through a full-time position, internship, co-op or university project would be beneficial.
Experience or knowledge in any of the following would also be advantageous:
Lean Manufacturing
5S / Kaizen
Six Sigma
DOE
JMP or Minitab
CAD
Data analysis
Production or manufacturing systems
