The Role
A critical Contracts Manager position within the North America organisation, owning the continuous improvement of contract forms that shape every major BESS deal.
You will act as the primary voice of sales bridging commercial intent with contractual execution—while partnering closely with sales leadership, legal, commercial operations, and business operations teams. This is a highly strategic role focused on alignment, enablement, and elevating the contracting process for utility-scale storage projects across the region.
You will:
• Manage the ongoing evolution of form contracts including SPA, LTSA, EPC, and related commercial documents
• Serve as the liaison for Megapack Sales to prioritise and drive contract updates aligned with deal strategy
• Review contract terms across active negotiations to identify trends, risks, and solutions to emerging issues
• Develop negotiation tools, playbooks, and training to strengthen contract fluency and confidence across the sales team
Requirements
• 5–7+ years’ experience, ideally within renewable energy, power markets, or large-scale infrastructure
• Extensive background in contract management within complex, cross-functional organisations
• Proven project management skills with the ability to manage multiple workflows simultaneously
• Degree in a quantitative field—or equivalent industry experience
• Strong working knowledge of battery systems, power conversion, and U.S. grid markets
• Comfortable operating in fast-paced, high-growth environments with evolving commercial priorities
