With a 35 plus GWh project pipeline and more than 230 professionals already on board, their U.S. division is scaling fast, and they are now hiring EHS Specialists to support the safe construction of some of the largest and most advanced BESS projects in the world.
The Role
As an EHS Specialist, you will be embedded on-site, playing a hands-on role in managing environmental, health, and safety matters across large-scale renewable construction projects. This position is focused on day-to-day site activity, working closely with construction teams, contractors, and site leadership to identify risks, enforce safe systems of work, and ensure regulatory compliance.
These are approx 12-month contract roles, working 40 hours per week, with the opportunity for overtime depending on project progress. For candidates not looking to relocate permanently, the role can be supported on a travel basis, typically requiring 2–3 weeks on site per month at a time.

Responsibilities Include:
Acting as the primary on-site EHS resource for renewable construction activities
Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local environmental, health, and safety regulations
Conducting regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
Supporting high-voltage electrical works, including environments operating at 600V and above
Implementing and auditing Lockout/Tagout procedures
Investigating incidents,cund near-misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
Delivering toolbox talks, safety briefings, and EHS training for site teams and contractors
Supporting emergency response planning and site readiness
Managing environmental compliance activities, including waste management and hazardous materials handling
Maintaining accurate EHS records, reports, and documentation
Working closely with site leadership to promote a strong, proactive safety culture
The Candidate
5+ years of experience in an EHS role within construction, energy, or industrial environments
Strong experience working on solar field or utility-scale renewable projects
Proven exposure to high-voltage systems (600V+)
Hands-on, site-focused approach with confidence operating in active construction environments
Solid understanding of Lockout/Tagout procedures and electrical safety standards
NFPA training or strong working knowledge of NFPA standards
Experience conducting site audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
Comfortable working independently on site while engaging effectively with contractors and site leadership
Willingness to work on a contract basis and travel or relocate as required
