Key Info
Job Title:
Strategic Business Development Lead – Next Generation AI & Power Infrastructure
Sector:
ENERGY STORAGE
Salary:
160000 -200000
Contract Type:
permanent
We are supporting the build-out of a newly formed division within one of the most influential energy and manufacturing platforms in the United States.
Headquartered in the U.S. and backed by one of the country’s largest advanced manufacturing footprints, this business has already transformed multiple industries through its ability to industrialize complex technologies at scale.
Now, it is targeting one of the largest emerging bottlenecks in AI infrastructure and electrification: power delivery architecture.
The team has developed a next-generation modular medium-voltage power platform purpose-built for accelerated computing and hyperscale data center environments.
The technology combines:
Medium-voltage solid-state transformation
Advanced power conversion
Integrated backup power functionality
800V DC rack-ready architecture
High-efficiency power delivery
Grid and infrastructure optimization
The platform is designed to simplify and modernize how power is distributed across AI and hyperscale computing environments by removing layers of legacy electrical infrastructure while improving efficiency, scalability, uptime, footprint, and total cost of ownership.
This is not a concept-stage startup. The manufacturing capability, engineering depth, infrastructure expertise, and commercial scale already exist. The company is now hiring its first strategy-led business development professional for this new division.
The Opportunity
This role is designed for someone who wants to help shape the commercial direction of a potentially transformational infrastructure platform before the market fully matures.
You will work directly alongside senior technical and commercial leadership to:
Identify strategic market opportunities
Build hyperscale and infrastructure partnerships
Influence go-to-market strategy
Evaluate commercial applications across AI and data center markets
Help position the business at the centre of next-generation computing infrastructure
This role sits far closer to infrastructure strategy, market development, and ecosystem building than traditional sales.
You will engage directly with hyperscalers, data center operators, utilities, EPCs, and strategic infrastructure customers shaping the future of AI-scale power demand.
Why This Opportunity Is Different
The AI infrastructure market is rapidly colliding with the realities of grid constraints, power density limitations, and aging electrical architecture.
Very few companies globally have the ability to:
Design advanced power infrastructure
Manufacture domestically at scale
Integrate hardware, software, and power electronics internally
Execute infrastructure deployment at hyperscale
That combination is exactly why this opportunity is so unique. You are joining at the earliest stage of what could become one of the most strategically important power infrastructure platforms supporting AI and accelerated computing over the next decade.
What We’re Looking For
We expect some of the strongest profiles to come from traditional power electronics, critical infrastructure, and data center power environments rather than purely renewable energy backgrounds.
Relevant experience may include:
UPS systems
Data center power architecture
Medium-voltage infrastructure
Power conversion systems
Critical power infrastructure
Industrial power electronics
Grid-facing electrical systems
Hyperscale infrastructure
The ideal individual will combine strategic commercial thinking with genuine technical curiosity and a deep understanding of infrastructure-driven markets. You should be comfortable operating within highly technical environments while communicating credibly with senior stakeholders across utilities, hyperscalers, data center operators, and advanced engineering teams.
Most importantly, we are looking for someone excited by the idea of helping shape a category before the rest of the market fully catches up. For the right person, this is likely to be a career-defining opportunity.
