Role Summary
The Equipment Engineer will focus on improving equipment performance, increasing productivity, and ensuring operational uptime. You will design, implement, and maintain manufacturing equipment while analyzing OEE and collaborating with operators to solve technical challenges.
We are seeking both Level II Engineers (3–7 years’ experience) and Senior Engineers (7+ years’ experience).
Key Responsibilities
Monitor and analyze OEE to reduce downtime, micro-stops, and breakdowns.
Design, install, maintain, and improve production equipment (mechanical, electrical, and automated systems).
Implement and review work orders, including PLC-based instructions.
Lead equipment modifications and improvements to increase productivity and quality.
Train and mentor junior engineers and operators.
Collaborate across departments to troubleshoot and optimize equipment performance.
Essential requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or related Engineering field required.
Level II: 3–7 years’ experience in equipment / production engineering within manufacturing
Senior: 7+ years’ experience in equipment / production engineering within manufacturing
Ability to work in PPE, lift/push/pull up to 35–50 lbs and perform repetitive movements for extended periods
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
Preferred requirements
Experience within advanced electrical/mechanical manufacturing environments such as automotive, aerospace or semiconductor
PLC experience (Mitsubishi preferred)
Experience implementing six sigma to make improvements in a manufacturing environment
CAD and DOE experience
Experience working with overseas R&D teams for international manufacturers
