Role This role will be split between national travel to industrial sites and supporting work in the manufacturing facility near Atlanta. You’ll be a key member of the product management team, supporting post-sales activities and ensuring critical power systems operate reliably.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct on-site and remote commissioning, troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of UPS and other power electronics for industrial markets, including telecoms, data centers, and energy sectors.
Manage returned materials and repair stock, including processing RMAs, performing repairs as needed, and ensuring equipment readiness.
Provide technical guidance and support to customers and their agents in proper installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and operation of the systems.
Collaborate with Customer Support and product teams to close the loop on technical issues and provide feedback to improve products and processes.
Develop and deliver documentation, best practices, operational plans, and training. Support R&D initiatives and ad hoc projects as needed.
Requirements:
Technical degree preferred (Electrical, Mechanical, or related) but not essential.
5+ years’ experience with field service, commissioning, or maintenance of UPS, inverters, rectifiers, battery chargers, or DC/AC power systems for industrial applications.
Experience providing technical support to customers and managing returned materials/repairs.
Strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently in complex technical environments.
Excellent oral and written communication across internal and external stakeholders.
Hands-on expertise troubleshooting electrical systems and networks using multi-meters, power analyzers, and data acquisition tools.
Travel: 50%+ in the USA, with occasional international travel as needed.
