The US organization has grown past 230 employees across engineering, sales, and field operations, with further expansion underway as new battery facilities come online. While manufacturing sits outside this team’s scope, the local group is responsible for designing, delivering, and supporting large utility-scale battery storage systems for power providers. The Role:
This HR Manager will act as the primary partner to the senior HR leader for the division and will support all core HR functions for a workforce of more than 230 employees. The focus will be on employee relations, engagement, retention, performance processes, compliance, and day to day HR operations. Talent acquisition is handled by internal specialists, so this role will concentrate on broader people strategy and operational leadership.
Key Responsibilities include:
• Leading employee relations cases
• Supporting managers during investigations and performance improvement plans
• Managing engagement surveys and developing action plans
• Assisting with benefits and compensation cycles
• Supporting performance management reviews and related training
• Producing HR reporting and analytics with strong attention to detail
• Contributing to succession planning and organizational development
• Working on site four days per week
• This role offers a 10% annual bonus with potential to increase to 17.5% over time
Essential Requirements:
• Five or more years of HR experience
• Experience in technical businesses with engineering focused or renewable energy organizations preferred
• Strong capability in employee relations, coaching managers, and handling performance issues
• Experience supporting engagement, retention strategies, and HR operations
• Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal employment regulations
• SHRM CP or SHRM SCP preferred
• Ability to work well in a fast paced and evolving environment
• Ability to partner with global teams across time zones
• High work ethic and strong problem solving ability
