The Role

As the Head of Sales / Country Manager for LATAM, you will lead commercial expansion across the region. This is a strategic role combining key account leadership, market development, and regional team building. We are seeking a proactive commercial leader who thrives in dynamic environments and has deep ties to the energy storage ecosystem across Latin America.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Sales Growth: Drive revenue, margin, and market share for BESS products across priority LATAM markets (e.g., Brazil, Chile, Mexico, Colombia).
  • Business Development: Build and grow relationships with developers, utilities, EPCs, and IPPs; identify and pursue new project opportunities.
  • Market Expansion: Lead go-to-market strategies and regional partnership initiatives.
  • Commercial Leadership: Own the end-to-end sales process – from lead generation and client engagement to RFP responses and contract negotiation.
  • Customer Engagement: Act as the key point of contact for regional customers, ensuring alignment between client needs and internal teams (product, engineering, operations).
  • Industry Visibility: Represent the brand at trade shows, events, and conferences to build regional presence.
  • Regional Team Development: Recruit, mentor, and lead a small high-impact sales and support team as growth accelerates.
Key Qualifications
  • 5–10+ years of direct sales or business development experience in utility-scale energy storage, solar, or power conversion systems.
  • Proven track record of delivering complex infrastructure projects and large-scale energy deals.
  • Deep understanding of the LATAM energy landscape, including regulatory frameworks, procurement processes, and key decision-makers.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English; Portuguese is a strong plus.
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, hands-on leader with an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Familiarity with technical aspects of BESS systems and/or PCS is preferred.
