Leading global energy storage business at the forefront of lithium-ion battery manufacturing and system integration. Backed by a major international group, they are now launching a 2M sq. ft. production and warehouse facility in Phoenix, Arizona. This is a flagship site supporting the rapid growth of utility-scale energy storage across North America.
The business is scaling fast, processes are still being shaped, and HR plays a critical role in getting it right from day one. Strong focus on safety, operational excellence, and delivering fully integrated storage solutions into a market that’s only going one way.
The role:
This is a hands-on HR Generalist position with a strong recruitment focus, particularly in the early stages of site ramp-up.
You will be the main HR point of contact on-site, sitting at the heart of the operation supporting hiring, stabilising the workforce, and acting as the go-to HR partner during a critical growth phase.
- Partner with hiring managers to define roles and drive recruitment activity (high-volume + specialist)
- Manage candidate flow: screening, interviews, offers, and onboarding coordination
- Coordinate closely with agencies to secure talent quickly and efficiently
- Maintain accurate tracking and reporting across hiring activity
- Support onboarding and offboarding processes, including first-day coordination
- Act as a key point of contact for employee relations on site
- Support a shift-based workforce (attendance, overtime, day-to-day issues)
- Work closely with central HR on more complex cases and broader HR initiatives
- Contribute to building HR processes and structure as the site scales
- Support wider HR projects and initiatives as required
Essential requirements:
- 5+ years HR Generalist experience

- Experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environment
- Bilingual Spanish and English (essential)
- Strong understanding of U.S. employment law
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable being on-site and hands-on with the workforce
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Desirable requirements:
- Experience with HRIS systems (ADP preferred)
- HR certification (PHR / SHRM-CP)
- Experience supporting site start-ups or scale-ups
Why this role is interesting:
This isn’t a traditional HR role.
You’re walking into a site that’s being built, a workforce that’s being shaped, and a business that needs a hands-on HR professional to take ownership on the ground.
If you’ve ever wanted to:
- Be part of a major battery manufacturing build-out in the US
- Take on a broad, autonomous HR role with real day-to-day impact
- Work closely with operations in a fast-moving, high-growth environment
