You’ll collaborate closely with senior leadership and technical teams to drive legislative and regulatory outcomes that unlock deployment opportunities across North America.
Your mission:
- Develop and execute state-level policy strategies to accelerate the growth of grid-scale battery energy storage
- Engage with regulators, utilities, and lawmakers to advocate for clean energy and market access
- Align policy, business development, and engineering functions to strengthen go-to-market execution
- Monitor, analyze, and respond to evolving regulatory and legislative developments
- Represent the organization in public hearings, commissions, and stakeholder forums to advance strategic priorities
The Candidate
- 6+ years in energy policy, regulation, or utility market design
- Strong grasp of electric utility operations, transmission systems, and interconnection frameworks
- Demonstrated success influencing state-level policy or regulatory outcomes
- Skilled communicator able to translate complex technical information into clear, compelling advocacy
- Degree in energy, political science, economics, or law (advanced degree preferred)
- Confident, energetic, and adaptable to fast-paced environments where priorities evolve quickly
