The Company
This U.S.-based manufacturer of power electronics delivers innovative solutions for energy storage, microgrids, telecom, datacenters, utilities, and industrial customers with critical power needs. With differentiated products, strong funding, and a growing team, the company is well positioned to expand rapidly in the clean energy sector.

Employees join a collaborative, flat organization where creativity and initiative are encouraged, and leaders give people the freedom to stretch their skills, take ownership, and contribute directly to company success. The culture values continuous improvement, teamwork, and personal growth, making it an ideal environment for ambitious professionals looking to advance their careers.

The Role
The company is seeking a Project Manager to oversee the delivery of UPS and battery energy storage projects across the U.S. Based in the Atlanta area with occasional travel, you will manage projects from planning through commissioning and handover. This role is not just about oversight but about driving projects forward, solving problems, and ensuring schedules, budgets, and customer expectations are met.

The successful candidate will also play a key role in shaping project management processes for the U.S. business, laying the foundation for a future project management department and positioning themselves for growth into an operations leadership role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead projects from design, procurement, and installation through commissioning and completion

  • Create project plans with clear scopes, timelines, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies

  • Serve as the main point of contact for customers, contractors, and internal teams

  • Drive issues to resolution, ensuring delays or challenges are handled proactively

  • Contribute to proposals and presales by identifying risks and requirements during bidding

  • Develop and implement project management processes and templates to standardize delivery

  • Prepare financial reports and oversee project budgets and cash flows

  • Conduct site visits and customer meetings, ensuring quality and compliance standards are met

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or relevant years' of experience.

  • 5+ years of experience with UPS, inverters, battery storage, or other DC/AC power systems

  • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously

  • Experience working directly with customers in renewables, telecom, datacenters, utilities, or industrial sectors

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels

  • Technical aptitude to understand electrical equipment, schematics, and timelines

  • Financial and budget management experience

  • PMP or similar certification preferred

The Candidate
This role is suited for someone who is solutions oriented and thrives on making things happen, not just reporting on progress. The company is looking for a driver of projects, someone who can balance attention to detail with the momentum needed to keep complex initiatives moving. Strong organization, clear communication, and the ability to anticipate actions before issues arise are essential.

With the company growing quickly, this is also a long-term opportunity. The right candidate will not only deliver projects successfully but also help build a project management function that can grow into a larger division, opening doors to future leadership.
