The Role
This is a senior business development position focused exclusively on hyperscale and large-scale data center customers.
You will own market development end to end: originating opportunities, shaping customer requirements, structuring sales processes, and guiding projects from first engagement through contract execution. This role carries significant growth targets and requires deep credibility with sophisticated buyers who expect partners not vendors.
You’ll work closely with internal commercial, engineering, finance, and legal teams to translate highly technical power and energy solutions into compelling, bankable propositions for mission-critical infrastructure.
What You’ll Do
Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for the North American hyperscale data center segment
Leverage existing relationships and build new senior-level connections with major data center operators and developers
Identify, qualify, and originate large, long-cycle opportunities and build a robust sales pipeline
Lead the full sales process from initial engagement through commercial structuring and contract execution
Shape and respond to complex RFPs, generating high-quality proposals aligned with customer requirements and strategic objectives
Lead techno-economic analysis, identifying risks, optimizing technical and commercial variables, and clearly articulating differentiated value versus competitors
Own commercial negotiations, coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver executable agreements
Proactively manage internal and external stakeholders to drive timely decision-making and close-out
The Candidate
Required:
5–10+ years of experience in long-cycle B2B sales or business development
Proven success selling complex energy, power, or infrastructure solutions
Strong understanding of how hyperscale data center buyers evaluate, procure, and deploy power solutions
Demonstrated ability to structure and lead sophisticated sales processes across multiple stakeholders
Highly valued:
Established relationships with major data center operators, developers, or EPCs
Experience showcasing power electronics, energy storage, or grid-interactive solutions to technical and commercial audiences
Strong commercial acumen across pricing models, project economics, and risk allocation
Ability to operate autonomously while coordinating cross-functionally in fast-paced, high-growth environments
