We're supporting a confidential global organization in appointing a senior legal professional to join its Corporate Headquarters in Seoul.
This is not a traditional in-house legal role.
You'll join a highly strategic team responsible for navigating complex legal, regulatory and government affairs issues that impact the business across multiple international markets. Working directly with senior executives and global stakeholders, you'll play a key role in protecting commercial interests, resolving high-profile matters and supporting long-term business strategy.

The Opportunity
As part of a specialist strategic affairs team, you'll advise on complex cross-border legal and regulatory matters while partnering with senior leadership across the business.
Responsibilities include:
- Advising senior leadership on complex legal, regulatory and strategic matters.
- Supporting negotiations involving commercial disputes, government agencies and external stakeholders.
- Developing negotiation strategies to mitigate legal and commercial risk.
- Working cross-functionally with legal, commercial and executive leadership teams.
- Building relationships with regulators, government bodies and strategic partners.
- Supporting international business initiatives and corporate projects.
- Helping shape company policy and global strategic decision-making.
We're interested in speaking with lawyers who have:
- A U.S. legal background (JD or equivalent).
- At least five years' legal experience within private practice or an in-house legal team.
- Experience in Government Affairs, Public Policy, Regulatory Affairs or complex corporate legal matters.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong commercial judgment and strategic thinking.
- Experience negotiating complex legal or commercial matters is advantageous.
