The Role
The Senior Solutions Manager will lead pre-sales engineering efforts across the Americas, developing competitive, compliant, and cost-effective energy storage solutions from early-stage customer engagement through to project handover. This position requires strong customer-facing and commercial support skills, as well as prior experience supporting sales teams in technical discussions, proposals, and solution design.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development of technical solutions for energy storage projects, including system architecture, optimization, and regulatory compliance.
Act as the primary technical interface for customers, EPCs, and internal stakeholders during pre-sales activities.
Collaborate with sales, engineering, and product teams to ensure solutions are technically sound and commercially viable.
Translate customer and market feedback into actionable input for product and solution improvement.
Conduct technical risk assessments and ensure alignment with industry standards (UL, IEEE, NEC, NFPA).
Represent the company at industry events, customer meetings, and conferences as a technical expert.
Requirements:
5+ years of experience in renewable energy with utility-scale BESS experience.
Prior sales support or pre-sales engineering experience required.
Strong customer-facing communication and presentation skills.
Technical understanding of BESS architecture and grid integration.
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, or related Engineering field.
