The Role
As a Senior OT Network Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, implementing, and supporting the network infrastructure that underpins integrated SCADA systems across large-scale battery energy storage projects.


The role combines network design, implementation, troubleshooting, and security, supporting production and SCADA environments across operational and upcoming project sites.
You will work across routers, switches, firewalls, industrial communications, and secure remote connectivity, helping ensure reliable communication between SCADA components, field devices, and wider network systems.

A significant part of the position involves working with internal engineering teams, customers, commissioning teams, and field personnel to take network designs from planning through deployment and ongoing support.

You will also be responsible for identifying and resolving complex network issues, maintaining secure OT environments, supporting system audits and assessments, and helping improve network reliability and performance across the wider project portfolio

This is a senior individual contributor role suited to someone who can work independently, take ownership of technical initiatives, and operate confidently within complex or critical infrastructure environments.

Responsibilities Include:
• Designing and planning network infrastructure for integrated SCADA and production environments
• Developing scalable network solutions across routers, switches, firewalls, and related infrastructure
• Configuring and optimizing network devices to support reliable communication between SCADA components and wider systems
• Supporting network implementation at project sites in partnership with commissioning and field teams
• Troubleshooting connectivity issues, hardware failures, performance bottlenecks, and communication faults
• Implementing and maintaining network security measures across industrial environments


The Candidate
• 8-10+ years of experience in network engineering, infrastructure, or closely related environments
• Strong experience designing, implementing, and troubleshooting complex network environments
• Experience working with routers, switches, and firewalls, ideally including Cisco, MOXA, Palo Alto, or Fortinet technologies
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP and industrial or enterprise networking principles
• Experience supporting SCADA, industrial networks, OT environments, or other critical infrastructure is highly relevant
• Ability to diagnose and resolve complex network issues independently
• Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Network Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience
• Willingness to travel approximately 10% for project deployments and site support
