The build is underway. The scale is significant. And the need for the right person to navigate the public sector landscape has never been more important.
The Role
This position will lead state and local government engagement across Arizona, with a particular focus on Pinal County and the Town of Queen Creek.
You’ll sit at the intersection of policy, infrastructure, and industrial scale-up, ensuring alignment across permitting, utilities, and key stakeholder groups as the site continues to expand.
This is not a passive role. You’ll be expected to bring an existing Arizona network, understand how decisions get made, and play a hands-on role in moving critical initiatives forward.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
Policy & Legislative Intelligence
Monitor Arizona and federal policy developments impacting operations
Translate regulatory changes into clear business implications
Provide guidance to support permitting and strategic decisions
Strategic Stakeholder Engagement
Build and maintain relationships with key state and local stakeholders
Focus on engagement within Pinal County and Queen Creek
Support long-term alignment between public entities and site leadership
Risk & Issue Management
Identify emerging risks across policy, permitting, and community dynamics
Coordinate internally to align messaging and mitigate exposure
Support resolution of sensitive external-facing issues
Project Coordination
Support government-facing aspects of infrastructure, utilities, and permitting
Track dependencies across public-sector stakeholders
Help protect timelines, cost, and compliance
Executive & Cross-Cultural Support
Act as a bridge between U.S. stakeholders and global leadership
Deliver clear, concise updates to senior decision-makers
Represent the organisation in high-visibility external settings
What You Bring
7+ years in government affairs, external affairs, public policy, or similar
Strong understanding of Arizona’s political and regulatory landscape
Proven experience engaging with state and/or local officials
Established network across Arizona (Pinal County / Queen Creek strongly preferred)
Ability to translate policy into real operational and project impact
Strong communication, briefing, and stakeholder management skills
High integrity and strong compliance awareness
