Role
Support the development and sale of ESS for utility and C&I customers as primary technical resource from initial qualification through system design and contract negotiation.
Size the BESS and provide the optimum solution based on the customer’s needs
Ensure technical compliance of ESS solution in response to RFPs
Assist evaluation and development of ESS and its components including battery, inverter, BMS and SCADA
Support project execution with system details and interconnection applications
Develop tools and offer insights to support materials such as presentations, white papers, and manuals
Deliver technical presentations internally and to customers
Attend trade shows/conferences and track energy storage technologies and industry trends
Candidate requirements
C&I or utility-scale BESS experience
Strong experience in BESS system sizing
Knowledge of industry standards such as UL, NEC and NFPA
Self-starter with ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
Confident decision-maker, comfortable working in ambiguity
Excellent customer facing skills including verbal and written communication
