The role
As the facility in Queen Creek continues to scale, this role will play a key part in building a strong financial foundation to support rapid growth. Sitting within the accounting function, you will take ownership of core financial processes including reporting, compliance, and audit, while supporting leadership with insights to guide decision-making. This is a hands-on role within a complex manufacturing environment, where accuracy, structure, and the ability to operate at pace are critical.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support internal controls and establish guidelines for accounting transactions across the site
- Prepare business activity reports, financial forecasts, and annual budgets
- Produce periodic financial reports, ensuring compliance with GAAP and reporting standards
- Lead tax planning activities and support the filing of corporate tax returns
- Coordinate with external auditors and support the annual audit process
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulatory requirements
- Conduct financial audits and maintain accurate, reliable financial records
- Partner with leadership to provide recommendations on financial strategy and performance
Essential requirements
- 7+ years of accounting or finance experience
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, and cost control principles
- Experience working within a large or complex organisation
- Knowledge of GAAP and regulatory compliance requirements
- Strong analytical and organisational skills, with high attention to detail
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Desirable requirements
- CPA (Certified Public Accountant) designation preferred
- Experience within manufacturing or industrial environments
- Familiarity with ERP systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
