Salary:

Contract Type:
permanent
We are helping establish a new division within one of the most influential technology, energy, and advanced manufacturing companies in the United States.
There is very little global experience across power electronics, energy storage, software, electrical engineering, and large-scale U.S. manufacturing. The company has, on several occasions, shown it can take complex technologies, scale them to industrial levels, and deploy them at a massive scale.
The company has created a next-generation, domestically manufactured modular medium-voltage power platform designed specifically for AI factories and hyperscale data centers.
It is currently seeking an early commercial leader to help bring that technology to market.
The Technology
The platform combines:
Medium-voltage solid-state transformation
Advanced power conversion
800 VDC rack-ready architecture
Integrated backup power functionality
High-efficiency power delivery
Modular and scalable system design
Grid and infrastructure optimization
The Opportunity
You'll join the new division at a formative stage and work side by side with senior technical and commercial leaders to help decide how this technology is commercialized in the U.S. AI infrastructure market.
You will:
Help develop the go-to-market strategy for AI and hyperscale data centers
Identify early commercial opportunities and strategic applications
Build relationships with hyperscalers, data center operators and infrastructure developers
Develop partnerships across utilities, EPCs and the wider power ecosystem
Identify and develop flagship projects
Translate complex power technology into compelling commercial propositions
Feed customer and market intelligence directly into product strategy
Help shape commercial models, partnerships and routes to market
You will occupy the position where engineering, infrastructure strategy, and commercialization come together.
Why This Company?
Some companies are working on new generations of power technologies, but far fewer have the infrastructure needed to move them into industrial production and deploy them at scale.
This organization already brings together:
Expertise in advanced power electronics and energy storage.
Internally developed software and controls.
Strong capabilities in electrical and infrastructure engineering.
It is one of the most important advanced manufacturing platforms in America.
It can support both capital and operational functions to scale complex hardware.
A history of disrupting well-established industries through vertical integration and manufacturing.
You won't be joining a startup in the conceptual stage to prove it can manufacture.
The necessary engineering abilities, manufacturing facilities, capital, and technology ecosystem are already in place.
The opportunity now is to build the commercial market.
Who We're Looking For
We expect many of the strongest candidates to come from the established data center power and critical infrastructure ecosystem, including:
UPS and critical power
Data center electrical architecture
Medium-voltage infrastructure
Transformers and switchgear
Power conversion and power electronics
Grid-facing electrical systems
Energy storage
Hyperscale infrastructure
You don't need direct experience with solid-state transformers.
What matters is a strong understanding of mission-critical infrastructure, credibility with sophisticated customers, and the ability to bridge highly technical engineering teams and senior commercial stakeholders.
You probably already have connections with hyperscalers, data center operators, developers, EPCs, or utilities, and you're already familiar with how complex infrastructure technologies move from technical evaluation to large-scale deployment.
Why Join?
Build, don't inherit. Join at the start of a new division and help shape its strategy, customer base, and commercial direction.
Define a new category of infrastructure.
The 800 VDC and the new-generation AI power architectures are still in development, and you will be joining us at a stage when the technology, the customers, and the business models are being established.
